Red Maeng Da is the calmer cousin of Green and White Maeng Da. Like most Red veins it is said that it can  be used as a pain reliever and anxiety reliever, principally in the higher doses. In the lower doses you will experience an euphoric, mood boost with a noticeable boost in concentration and focus, something very similar to Green Maeng Da.  Another thing some will find to be a benefit of Red Maeng Da is unlike Green Maeng Da if you take a larger dose of Red Maeng Da you will get a heavier sedative effect and this is because of the different concentrations of alkaloids in mature Red leaves of Kratom. Any Kratom taken in high doses will have a sedative effect but because Green Maeng Da is know mostly for it's energizing properties the sedative effect is not as pronounced when compared to Red Maeng Da. Overall, I believe this powder is worthy of the prestiged Maeng Da name.
